
Dr. Aishwarya Taneja, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician committed to delivering comprehensive, compassionate care by integrating mental health and lifestyle medicine into pediatric and adolescent practice. Her work focuses on addressing both the physical and psychological foundations of health during critical developmental years.
Dr. Taneja completed her pediatric residency at the University of Toledo, where she developed a strong clinical foundation in general pediatrics. She subsequently pursued advanced subspecialty training through a fellowship in Pediatric Headache Medicine at Johns Hopkins University. During this fellowship, she cultivated deep expertise in the mind body connection, chronic pain syndromes, and holistic approaches to headache and neurologic care in children and adolescents.
To further expand her integrative care model, Dr. Taneja completed a Primary Care Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of California, Irvine. This training emphasized the early identification, evaluation, and management of mental health conditions within the primary care setting, allowing her to provide timely, coordinated support for pediatric patients and their families.
Dr. Taneja currently serves underserved communities in Northern California and is deeply committed to health equity and access to care. She has a particular clinical interest in adolescent mental health and obesity, with a focus on prevention, early intervention, and sustainable lifestyle-based treatment strategies.
Through her patient centered approach, Dr. Taneja strives to support the long-term physical, emotional, and mental well-being of children and adolescents, empowering families with the tools and knowledge needed for lasting health.
